Connect a Bank / Card

Add a new account to your budget tracker

Found in your .env file as API_KEY

This becomes the tab name in Google Sheets
Just needs to be unique — not a real email

How to add a credit card:

  1. Paste your API key from .env
  2. Enter the card name (e.g. Costco CC) and a placeholder email
  3. Click Create Account Entry — the User ID will fill in automatically
  4. Click Connect Bank / Card via Plaid and pick the card's institution
  5. A new tab appears in your Google Sheet and syncs every 15 min
